Motherhood is a full-time job. Anyone who has or has had children of their own can attest to that. Many women with children spend their money and time on their kids, and in this day and age, most mothers work a job outside of home to support the family. Many are single. As you may guess, these mothers are hardly thinking twice about going back to school. But that all may change.

One of the first bills from President Obama is the new "Moms Return to School" Government Grant Scholarship. "Scholarships for Moms" even has a tax benefit, and is applicable for online study, too.

Scholarships such as these are perfect for overworked, underpaid mothers as they never have to be repaid. But not everyone is excited about the President's big plans. With the national debt skyrocketing, big business bailouts, two wars going on, and the push for healthcare reform, some worry that the government is taking on too much at once. But in the minds of many working mothers, especially those who provide the sole income for their family, Obama's "Scholarships for Moms" money is a likely a blessing. For mothers struggling to make ends meet, a free college education is a dream come true. In today's society, it is almost essential to have a degree to hold a well-paying job. Especially in this bad economy, employers aren't messing around.

They're looking for the best bang for their buck, and college education is almost a given. If mothers can return to school, either in person or through online courses, they may be able to secure themselves a better job and in turn, provide a better quality of living for themselves and their children. "Scholarships for Moms" hopes to turn that dream into a reality.
